Removing the right control panel
Prerequisites
- Follow the safety guidelines listed in the Safety instructions.
- Follow the procedure listed in the Before working inside your system.
- Remove the drive backplane cover.
- If installed, remove the air shroud or remove the GPU air shroud.
- Remove the cooling fan cage assembly.
- Remove the side wall bracket.
Steps
- Using the Phillips #1 screwdriver, remove the screws that secures the right control panel and cable cover to the system.
- Remove the cable cover away the system.
- Disconnect the right control panel cable and the VGA cable from the connectors on the system board.
- Holding the cable, slide the right control panel out of the system.
NOTE:Observe the routing of the cable as you remove the right control panel from the system.NOTE:The numbers on the image do not depict the exact steps. The numbers are for representation of sequence.
