Upgrading the PoE Controller

To upgrade the PoE controller firmware, use the following command. You can upgrade the PoE controller firmware using the firmware packaged with the Dell Networking OS. After the upgrade is successful, the stack unit reloads automatically.

1. Upgrade the PoE controller.
   EXEC Privilege mode
   upgrade poe-controller stack-unit unit-number
   The following example shows upgrading the PoE controller on stack unit 1.

   Dell#upgrade poe-controller stack-unit 1

2. Verify the PoE version bundled with the booted Dell Networking OS image.

3. Verify the power details on the stack unit.
