Removing the Power Supply
- Perform the following steps as shown in the illustration:
- Press the 8–pin and 4–pin power cable [1].
- Disconnect the 8-pin and 4–pin power cables from the system board [2].
- Unroute the cable from the system board.
- Release the blue latch from the system.
- Remove the screws that secure the power supply to the back
of the computer
- Perform the following steps as shown in the illustration:
- Press the latch downwards to release the power supply unit [1].
- Slide the power supply unit from the computer [2].
- Lift the power supply out of the computer.
