Removing the Heatsink Assembly
- Using both hands, push away the two release handles while
lifting the fan shroud upward and off the computer.
- Perform the following steps as shown in the illustration:
- Press the fan cable [1].
- Disconnect the fan cable from the system board [2].
- Loosen the captive screws, lift the heat sink assembly and then remove it from the computer.
