This article describes the Out-of-Box first boot requirements for normal operation of Latitude xx90 series systems.
The Latitude xx90 series of systems require AC Adapter power in order to complete their initial boot successfully.
Latitiude xx90 series systems will not power up on battery power or through power input from a dock if not first powered on under AC Adapter power. Additionally, the battery will not charge without first powering up under AC Adapter power.
