Os direitos do Dell Data Security estão disponíveis para compra:

Para validar os direitos On The Box, o tráfego de saída precisa ser aberto para:

Como alternativa, um servidor proxy HTTP/HTTPS existente pode ser usado no lugar da conectividade direta por meio do firewall.
Os direitos gerenciados pelo Dell Security Management Server (antigo Dell Data Protection | Enterprise Edition) ou Dell Security Management Server Virtual (antigo Dell Data Protection | Virtual Edition) permitem um excedente de:
- v8.0.0 ou posterior: 5%
- v7.0.0 à 7.5.0: 10%
Assim que o limite excedente for atingido, novas ativações falharão até que novos direitos sejam adquiridos ou até que os direitos sejam removidos dos clients existentes.
Exemplo: O cliente adquiriu e instalou 300 direitos para o produto X. O cliente pode ativar o produto X em:
- v8.0.0 ou posterior: 315 endpoints
- v7.0.0 à 7.5.0: 330 endpoints
Um direito pode ser adicionado:
- Usando uma Licença de Acesso do Client (CAL)
- Usando as licenças On The Box
- Usando o Dell Digital Delivery
- Manualmente (somente para Dell Encryption Personal/Dell Data Protection | Personal Edition)
Para obter mais informações, clique na opção adequada.
Para adicionar a licença de acesso do client:
- Faça login no console de administração do Dell Data Security/Dell Data Protection Server. Para obter mais informações, consulte Como acessar o console de administração do Dell Data Security/Dell Data Protection Server.
- Selecione a guia Management e clique em License Management.
- Clique no botão Choose File.
- Selecione o arquivo .xml que deseja importar.
- Uma mensagem é exibida para confirmar que as licenças foram importadas corretamente.
As licenças On The Box são adicionadas ao servidor quando um endpoint é ativado. As licenças adicionadas são listadas no console de administração, na guia On The Box Licenses de License Management.
Se as licenças On The Box não puderem ser adicionadas por esse método, elas poderão ser importadas em massa a partir de um arquivo .csv.
Para adicionar licenças On The Box:
- Faça login no console de administração do Dell Data Security/Dell Data Protection Server. Para obter mais informações, consulte Como acessar o console de administração do Dell Data Security/Dell Data Protection Server.
- Selecione a guia Management e clique em License Management.
- Clique no botão On the Box License Import.
- Selecione o arquivo .csv que contém uma lista de etiquetas de serviço Dell com as licenças On The Box.
- Uma mensagem é exibida para confirmar que as licenças foram importadas corretamente.
O Dell Digital Delivery extrai todos os direitos associados a uma etiqueta de serviço de hardware Dell.

Se um direito do Dell Data Security for detectado pelo Dell Digital Delivery, o produto estará disponível para instalação por meio da UI (user interface, interface do usuário).
Advertência:
- O Dell Digital Delivery faz download da versão do produto disponível no momento da criação do direito. Versões mais recentes devem ser acessadas fora do Dell Digital Delivery.
- Seus pacotes de software disponíveis podem ser diferentes dos que aparecem na captura de tela acima.
Para visualizar a chave de direito na UI do Dell Digital Delivery, clique no 
(botão i) à direita do pacote de software.
Nota:
- Os direitos do Dell Data Security são armazenados em HKLM\Software\Dell\Dell Data Protection\Entitlement.
- Os endpoints podem ser pré-configurados para instalar o Dell Data Security no modo gerenciado remotamente adicionando o registro:
HKLM\Software\Dell\Dell Data Protection
REG_SZ (String): Server
Value: Nome de domínio totalmente qualificado do servidor
Os direitos do Dell Encryption Personal podem ser adicionados manualmente por:
- Registro
- IU
Clique na opção apropriada para obter mais informações.
Para adicionar o direito:
- Clique com o botão direito do mouse no menu Iniciar do Windows e clique em Executar.
- Na UI de Executar, digite regedit e pressione OK. O Registry Editor será aberto.
Advertência: A próxima etapa é uma edição do Registro do Windows:
- Faça backup do Registro antes de continuar, consulte Como fazer backup e restaurar o registro no Windows
. - Editar o Registro pode fazer com que o computador não responda na próxima reinicialização.
- Se você tiver dúvidas sobre como realizar essa etapa, entre em contato por meio dos números de telefone do suporte internacional do Dell Data Security para obter assistência.
- No Registry Editor, acesse HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\.
- Se HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Dell\ não existir, vá para a Etapa 4A. Se o caminho existir, vá para a Etapa 5.
- Em HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software, clique com o botão direito na pasta Software, selecione New e clique em Key. Nomeie a chave como Dell.
- Se HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Dell\Dell Data Protection\ não existir, vá para a Etapa 5A. Se o caminho existir, vá para a Etapa 6.
- Em HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Dell, se Dell Data Protection não existir, clique com o botão direito na pasta Dell, selecione New e clique em Key. Nomeie a chave como Dell Data Protection.
- Se HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Dell\Dell Data Protection\Entitlement não existir, vá para a Etapa 6A. Se o caminho existir, vá para a Etapa 7.
- Em HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Dell\Dell Data Protection, se Entitlement não existir, clique com o botão direito na pasta Dell Data Protection, selecione New e clique em Key. Nomeie a chave como Entitlement.
- Clique com o botão direito na pasta Entitlement, selecione New e clique em String Value.
- Nomeie o valor de string como SaEntitlement.
- Clique duas vezes em SaEntitlement.
- Preencha o campo Value data com o direito que você recebeu por e-mail no momento da compra e clique em OK.
Nota: O assistente de instalação do Dell Data Security/Dell Data Protection precisa ser reiniciado depois que o direito for adicionado.
No Dell Encryption Personal v8.15 e posterior, um direito pode ser adicionado durante a instalação do produto. No caso de versões anteriores à 8.15, vá para a seção Registro.
Durante a instalação, ao selecionar um tipo de gerenciamento, selecione Personal Edition e preencha o campo Entitlement Key.
