Симптомы
VxRail V570 or V570F virtual machines fail to power on.
Virtual machines fail to power on when the System BIOS has MMIO set to 56TB with supported configured as Pass-Through device to Guest Operating System.
Virtual machines fail to power on when the System BIOS has MMIO set to 56TB with supported configured as Pass-Through device to Guest Operating System.
Причина
The System BIOS has a Memory Mapped I/O Base set to 56TB and the server has GPU cards such as NVIDIA M60 as the PCIe Pass-Through device.
Разрешение
To resolve this issue, set the MMIO to 12TB.
To set MMIO, in System BIOS Settings > Integrated Devices, you have to set Memory Mapped I/O Base to 12TB.
