Affected Products:

  • Alienware 32 4K QD OLED Gaming Monitor AW3225QF

  1. Ensure that the monitor firmware is updated to version M2B105 or later.
  2. Use a High-Speed HDMI cable to connect the AW3225QF monitor to the soundbar.
Note:
  • If the soundbar supports ARC only, an HDMI 2.0 or above cable is required.
  • If the soundbar supports eARC, an HDMI 2.1 cable is required.
  • Some soundbars come with an HDMI cable in the box. Ensure the HDMI cable meets the requirements stated above.
  • The HDMI cable that comes in the AW3225QF box is a High-Speed HDMI 2.1 cable.
  1. Some soundbars have more than one HDMI port. Ensure the HDMI cable is connected to the HDMI port that supports ARC/eARC.
Note: Some soundbars do not have the words ARC/eARC printed next to the HDMI port. Check the documentation to identify the correct port.
  1. Ensure the HDMI cable is connected to HDMI Port 1 (eARC/ARC) of the AW3225QF.
  2. Ensure that HDMI CEC is turned on in the OSD:
    • Open the OSD and go to Others > HDMI CEC.
