To help identify your Dell UltraSharp monitor, the serial number or service tag is an important identification number.
The location of the label that contains the serial number, service tag, and regulatory information may vary between different models.
NOTE: The latest Dell UltraSharp monitors have a label containing the serial number and service tag information at the back of the monitor. See the User Manual of your Dell monitor for model-specific information.
Dell 1909 W and select Dell UltraSharp monitors do not have externally visible stickers. The label is hidden on a card that is tucked in on the left side of the monitor above the USB interface ports (Figure 1). The serial number, Service Tag (if applicable), and model number information are located on the front of the card. The FCC and other regulatory information will be found on the back of the card (Figure 2).
