現象
Monitor screen flickers
You may notice the screen flickering on the Dell monitor when the refresh rate on the MacBook M1 is set to Variable (40-60 Hz).
Affected Products:
- S2721Q
- S2721QS
- S2722QC
- S2721QSA
原因
This is a known compatibility issue and does not require replacing any hardware.
解決方法
Update macOS to version 13.0.1 or higher to avoid flickering related to Variable Refresh Rate (VRR).
Change the refresh rate from Variable to 60 Hz on the MacBook
NOTE: The refresh rate setting in the MacBook must be manually reset after every power ON. This is a MacBook operating system setting, and not related to the monitor setting.
Use the instructions below to change the refresh rate from Variable (40-60 Hz) to 60 Hz on the MacBook.
- Choose Apple menu
→ System Preferences, then click Displays.
