How to change Management IP address

Change the Dell Compellent controller IP address (physical port).

1. Log in to the Dell Storage Manager.

2. Click the Hardware tab and expand the Controller on the left pane.

3. Right-click the Upper Controller and click Edit Settings.

4. On the Edit Controller Settings window, change the IPv4 address, Netmask and Gateway in the Ether 0(MGMT) interface category, and click OK.

5. Repeat the same steps for the lower controller.

Change the Dell Compellent Storage Center management IP address (virtual port).

1. Click Edit Settings on the right corner of the Hardware tab screen.

2. Change the management IPv4 address in the Storage Center management IP address category and click OK.

3. Close the Dell Storage Manager Client once, and restart to check if you can log in to the Dell Compellent.
