Een back-up maken van configuratiedata en deze terugzetten op Dell PowerConnect W-IAP's

In dit artikel wordt uitgelegd hoe u een back-up maakt van configuratiedata en deze terugzet op Dell PowerConnect W-IAP’s.

De huidige configuratie weergeven

Ga als volgt te werk om de huidige configuratie-instellingen weer te geven:

• Ga in de Instant UI naar Maintenance/Configuration/Current Configuration (Onderhoud/Configuratie/Huidige configuratie)

• Voer in de CLI de volgende opdracht bij de opdrachtprompt in:
  
  (IAP)# show running-config
   

Een back-up van configuratiedata maken

Ga als volgt te werk om een back-up van de configuratiedata te maken:

1. Ga naar Maintenance/Configuration (Onderhoud/Configuratie).

2. Klik op Back-upconfiguratie.

3. Klik op Continue (Doorgaan) om het maken van de back-up te bevestigen.  Het bestand instant.cfg met de IAP-configuratiedata wordt opgeslagen in uw lokale bestandssysteem.

Gebruik deze opdracht om back-upkopieën van het configuratiebestand op te slaan naar een TFTP-server met het IP-adres 10.0.0.1.

(Instant AP)# copy config tftp 10.0.0.1 filename.cfg

(Instant AP)# copy config tftp 10.0.0.1 filename.cfg

De configuratie herstellen

Ga als volgt te werk om de configuratie te herstellen:

1. Ga naar Maintenance/Configuration (Onderhoud/Configuratie).

2. Klik op Restore Configuration (Configuratie herstellen).  Klik op Browse (Bladeren) om naar uw lokale systeem te gaan en selecteer het configuratiebestand.

3. Klik op Restore Now (Nu herstellen).

4. Klik op Restore Configuration (Configuratie herstellen) om het herstellen te bevestigen.  De configuratie wordt hersteld en het IAP wordt opnieuw opgestart om de nieuwe configuratie te laden.

Gebruik deze opdracht om het configuratiebestand te herstellen via de opdrachtregel van een TFTP-server met IP-adres 10.0.0.1:
