After shutting down and powering on a VxRail cluster in an external vCenter environment, the VxRail plug-in is missing from vCenter UI.
Check the VxRail Manager VM configuration, the Network Adapter 1 is disconnected.
When trying to configure the adapter again, the error message "Fail to connect virtual device ethernet0" appears.
Note: ethernet0 in the VxRail Manager Operating System maps to Network adapter 1 of the VM in vCenter.
This is a known VMware issue that a Virtual Machine may caused by a generic configuration fault during power on.
Check the /var/log/hostd.log file on the host that the VM resides, there is an error message like:
N3Vim5Fault20GenericVmConfigFault9ExceptionE(Fault cause: vim.fault.GenericVmConfigFault)
