Firmware for your system is available for downloading on Dell Support. To enter the Lifecycle Controller, press <F10> during boot, make sure a network connection is set up before you start the updates.

To set up the Network, go to Settings from the main menu, and then select Network settings. This needs to be set to valid details for your network.

Note: Any network settings in the Lifecycle Controller will not affect the normal Operating system once you have booted back to it.

Note: All Enterprise Systems Management software will be migrated to consume catalog files and Dell Update Packages from downloads.dell.com explicitly through https protocol. downloads.dell.com repository site is restricted to https protocols, and will not support ftp/http protocols for access. Dell Technologies recommends that users should begin leveraging the https protocol from the online repository at downloads.dell.com.

FTP option is only used for any local FTP server that the updates would reside on.
