Pre-Removal Instructions Before removing the Main Access Panel:
During installation or removals of any hardware always ensure that all data is backed up properly.
Disconnect any telephone, network, or USB cables from the computer.
Disconnect the computer and all attached devices from their electrical outlets.
Loosen the eight (8) captive screws that secure the cover to the chassis [1].
Use a plastic scribe or some other probe that will not damage the plastics to [2] to pry up the base cover. Starting from the top-left corner, then pry along the edges between the cover and the chassis to separate the cover from the computer [3].
Lift the base cover off the system.

During installation or removals of any hardware always ensure that all data is backed up properly.
Disconnect any telephone, network, or USB cables from the computer.
Disconnect the computer and all attached devices from their electrical outlets.
Remove the System Cover.
The battery is located at the bottom of the system, disconnect the battery cable from the motherboard [1]. Remove the screw that secures the top right-hand corner of the battery to the chassis [2].
Lift the battery up and out of the system [3]

Pre-Removal Instructions Before removing the Memory Card:
During installation or removals of any hardware always ensure that all data is backed up properly.
Disconnect any telephone, network, or USB cables from the computer.
Disconnect the computer and all attached devices from their electrical outlets.
Remove the System Cover and Battery.
The memory is located in the middle of the system, pull the metal clips on either side of the dimm away from each other. The memory pops up in the connector [1] and you pull it out of the connector [2].
Repeat for any additional memory installed.

Pre-Removal Instructions Before removing the M.2 Solid State Drive (SSD):
During installation or removals of any hardware always ensure that all data is backed up properly.
Disconnect any telephone, network, or USB cables from the computer.
Disconnect the computer and all attached devices from their electrical outlets.
Remove the System Cover and Battery.
The M.2 SSD card is located to the right of the battery. Remove the screw securing the card to the palmrest [1] and the SSD card will pop up at an angle from the chassis. You can pull it out of the connector and the system [2].

Pre-Removal Instructions Before removing the PCIe Solid State Drive (SSD):
During installation or removals of any hardware always ensure that all data is backed up properly.
Disconnect any telephone, network, or USB cables from the computer.
Disconnect the computer and all attached devices from their electrical outlets.
Remove the System Cover and Battery.
The PCIe SSD card is located to the right of the battery, remove the two (2) screws securing the SSD bracket card to the palmrest [1]. Remove the SSD bracket [2] and the SSD card will pop up at an angle from the chassis. You can pull it out of the connector and the system [3].

During installation or removals of any hardware always ensure that all data is backed up properly.
Disconnect any telephone, network, or USB cables from the computer.
Disconnect the computer and all attached devices from their electrical outlets.
Remove the System Cover and Battery.
The left and right speakers are located along the bottom of the system. Disconnect the speaker cable coming from the left-hand side speaker from the motherboard connector [1]. Unroute the cable from the securing tabs along the bottom of the touchpad [2].
Remove the speakers from the PC [3].

Pre-Removal Instructions Before removing the SIM Card:
During installation or removals of any hardware always ensure that all data is backed up properly.
Disconnect any telephone, network, or USB cables from the computer.
Disconnect the computer and all attached devices from their electrical outlets.
Straighten out a paperclip or use the SIM card removal tool to insert into the pinhole on the left-hand side of the SIM card tray [1].
The card tray should partially eject from the side of the system [2].
Grip the SIM card and remove it from the SIM card tray.

During installation or removals of any hardware always ensure that all data is backed up properly.
Disconnect any telephone, network, or USB cables from the computer.
Disconnect the computer and all attached devices from their electrical outlets.
Remove the System Cover and Battery.
The WLAN card is in the left-hand corner of the system opposite the system fan. Remove the single screw [1] that secures the WLAN card bracket to the chassis and remove the bracket from the system [2].
Disconnect the antenna cables from the card [3]. Lift up the press stud connectors until they pop off and lift the card out of the connector [4] and the system.

Pre-Removal Instructions Before removing the WWAN Card (3G, Cellular):
During installation or removals of any hardware always ensure that all data is backed up properly.
Disconnect any telephone, network, or USB cables from the computer.
Disconnect the computer and all attached devices from their electrical outlets.
Remove the System Cover and Battery.
The WWAN card is below the WLAN card, remove the single screw [1] that secures the WWAN bracket to the chassis. Remove it [2]Disconnect the antenna cables from the card [3] by lifting the press stud connectors until they pop off the card.
Lift the card out of the connector [4] and the system.
