Resolution

To create a custom role:

  1. In a web browser, go to [REGION].conferdeploy.net
  1. Sign In to the VMware Carbon Black Cloud.

  1. In the left menu pane, expand Settings and then click Roles.

Note: The layout in the example may differ slightly from your environment.
  1. In the upper right, click Add Role.

  1. In the Add Role menu:
    1. Populate the Role name.
    2. Populate a role Description.
    3. Optionally, Copy permissions from another role.
    4. Check the appropriate Permissions.
    5. Click Save.
