Dell Networking PowerConnect Campusスイッチでコマンド ラインを用いてMSTP（Multiple Spanning Tree）を管理する方法

この文書では、Dell Networking PowerConnect CampusスイッチでMSTP（Multiple Spanning Tree Protocol）を実装する方法について説明します。

MSTPの有効化

1. STPの動作モードをMSTPに設定します。

console(config)#spanning-tree mode mst

 

2.MSTインスタンスを作成し、それをVLANに関連付けます。

console(config)#spanning-tree mst configuration

console(config-mst)#instance 10 add vlan 10

Dell Networking PowerConnectスイッチは、最大8個のMSTPインスタンスをサポートします。Dell Networking Nシリーズ スイッチは、最大16個のMSTPインスタンスをサポートします。

3.地域名を作成して、同じ地域に属する必要のあるすべてのブリッジでその地域を形成させます。

console(config)#spanning-tree mst configuration

console(config-mst)#name dell

ルート ブリッジ優先度の設定

1.グローバルでは、スイッチはより高いルート ブリッジ優先度を設定することによって、地域のルートとして設定することができます。

console(config)#spanning-tree priority 8192

2.次に、個々のスイッチを、特定のMSTインスタンスの優先度として設定することができます。  これにより、MSTインスタンスごとのトラフィック フローのバランスを調整することができます。

console(config)#spanning-tree mst 10 priority 4096

Portfastの有効化

エッジ ポート（プリンタ、電話、サーバー、ワークステーションなどの端末デバイスに接続されるポート）はPortfastとして設定することをお勧めします。リンクが立ち上がると、Portfastのポートは、転送時間の遅延を待たずに、直ちにフォワーディング状態に移行します。
