Instructions

Windows Event Logs

  1. Windows Event Viewer:
    • In Windows 7: Click Start and type: eventvwr.msc
      Windows Search, Windows Event Viewer.exe
    • In Windows 11, 10, 8.1, or 8:
      • Press the Window Key
      • Type: Event Viewer
      • Select View Event Logs
  2. Select the type of logs that you must export:
    • Windows 11, 10, 8.1, 8, or 7:
      Windows Event Viewer Export Options
  3. Save the log:
    • Windows 11, 10, 8.1, 8, or 7: Action - > Save All Events As….
      Windows Event Viewer Export Options, Save
