Symptoms

L'operazione di aggiunta del dispositivo non è riuscita, a causa di errori di I/O.

L'aggiunta non riuscita è stata visualizzata nei registri MDM come segue:

/var/log/messages indicava che il driver HBA presentava problemi con il disco, interruzioni e timeout:

Resolution

Dopo aver sostituito l'hardware difettoso, passare in rassegna tutte le unità (inclusa l'unità root: satadom):

  1. Azzerare il primo MB dell'unità
  2. Riavviare il processo SDS sulla SVM
  3. Convalida del funzionamento dell'unità senza errori e crittografia in CloudLink
  4. Aggiungi al pool di storage
