How to Register for Dell Technologies Converged Infrastructure Support Portal?

If you are new to ProSupport/ProSupport Plus, the first step is to register your Converged Infrastructure systems by visiting the Dell Technologies support portal at here. Select Blocks/Racks Support and on the next screen, click the "New User" button on the login screen. It should take only a few minutes to complete the registration process.
To register, you need the following:
  • Your Customer Account Name (exactly as it appears above in this Invoice)
  • Only one of the following is needed for validation:
    • Dell Technologies Converged Infrastructure System Service Tag
      • In Invoice: "PowerFlex rack New System"
      • In Portal: "VCE System Serial Number"
    • Dell Technologies component service tag(s)
      • In Portal: "Component Serial Number"
Note: By registering in the support portal and including a valid email address, Dell Technologies can communicate important support-related notifications, including technical alerts, security alerts and product bulletins. Support information (including applicable personal information) will be transmitted between Dell Technologies locations worldwide as necessary for the provision of support.

How to Contact Technical Support?

Once registered on the support portal, please submit non-severity one support requests over here for fast technical support and response. When a service request is opened on the portal, the information will immediately be forwarded to a Dell Technologies technical support expert to isolate, troubleshoot, and engage the appropriate support engineering resources to resolve the issue.

Customers may need to provide the following information when creating a service request:
  • Account name
  • First and last name
  • Company/site owner name
  • Phone (specify if office or mobile)
  • Email (company domain)
  • Product and version details
  • Affected Service Tag
  • Problem description
  • Error code (if applicable)
  • Relevant attachments (up to 10 MB)
  • Sev1
    •  Production systems down, no workaround
    • Operations/functions severely impaired but can continue
    • Impaired operation of some functions
