    User Login/Registraton Guide- CPSD Customer Portal

    Dell Technologies Converged products are supported through a dedicated customer portal (CPSD). This user guide provides detailed, step-by-step instructions registration and accessing the dedicated CPSD customer portal site after the implementation of Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA).

    After your one-time registration & authentication, this dedicated CPSD,Customer Support portal will be the go to resource for all Converged Infrastructure product support.

    Applies to:

    • VxFlex Integrated Rack
    • PowerFlex Rack
    • VxBlock product family

     

    Registering for Dell Technologies Converged Infrastructure Support Portal?

    To register, you need the following:

    • Your Customer Account Name (exactly as it appears from the Invoice)
    • One of the following serial identifiers:
      • Dell Technologies Converged Infrastructure system identifier
        • Solution Serial number: "V71xxxxxxxx" found on physical rack
      • Any one of the Dell Technologies component 7 digit service tags

     

    Existing Dell.com user - Site Login

    Site URL – (PROD)- https://cpsd.my.site.com/

    If you have existing login credentials to the Dell.com support websites, please proceed to log in with your existing Dell.com user credentials.

    These are not your old CPSD login credentials.

    The next step is to authenticate your login through a two-step verification process. You will receive a verification code via email to your registered email address. Please enter the code in the field provided below.

    Click on Verify button and upon successful authentication, you will be redirected to the CPSD homepage.

    Existing CPSD user - Registration

    If you have never registered with Dell.com websites, please follow the below steps. If you have previously registered, please follow the above section (Existing Dell.com user - Site Login)

    Click on Create an Account link

    On Create Your Account page, please complete the registration form with the following details:

    • First Name
    • Last Name
    • Email Address (Note: Please use the same email address registered with CPSD Customer Portal Site)
    • Password (Create a strong password for your account)

    The next step is to authenticate your login through a two-step verification process. You will receive a verification code via email to your registered email address. Please enter the code in the field provided below.

    Click on Verify button and upon successful authentication, you will be redirected to the CPSD homepage.

    New User Login:

    If you are accessing CPSD Customer Portal site for the first time, please follow the registration steps below to create your account.

    Site URL – (PROD) - https://cpsd.my.site.com/

    Upon accessing the site URL, you will be redirected to the Dell.com Sign In page, please click on Create an account link.

    On Create Your Account page, please complete the registration form with the following details:

    • First Name
    • Last Name
    • Email Address (Note: Please use your corporate email address, not a personal one)
    • Password (Create a strong password for your account)

    The next step is to authenticate your login through a two-step verification process. You will receive a verification code via email to your registered email address. Please enter the code in the field provided below.

    Upon clicking Verify button, you will be taken to the CPSD Customer Portal User Registration page. Please refer to your information provided below, which contains all the necessary information and mandatory details required to complete your registration on the CPSD Customer Portal User Registration page.

    Your email ID will be automatically populated from your Dell.com registration. Please verify that your corporate email ID is displayed. Additionally, complete the following fields:

    • First Name
    • Last Name
    • Username (in email format)
    • Preferred contact method (select one):
      • Phone: enter your phone number
      • Email
    • Address
    • Service Partner
    • Account Information
    • Entitlements

    Ensure that you provide accurate and up-to-date information.

    Once you click the 'Submit' button, your registration will be complete.Clicking 'Go to Login Page' will redirect you to the site's homepage, where you can access the login portal.

    Note: You are now fully registered in our system. Moving forward, you can use your Dell.com user credentials for accessing both CPSD and Dell.com support pages.

     

    How to Contact Technical Support after successful registration

    Once registered on the support portal, please submit non-severity one support requests here for fast technical support and response. When a service request is opened on the portal, the information will immediately be forwarded to a Dell Technologies technical support expert to isolate, troubleshoot, and engage the appropriate support engineering resources to resolve the issue.

    Customers may need to provide the following information when creating a service request:

    • Account name
    • First and last name
    • Company/site owner name
    • Phone (specify if office or mobile)
    • Email (company domain)
    • Product and version details
    • Affected Service Tag
    • Problem description
    • Error code (if applicable)
    • Relevant attachments (up to 10 MB)
    • Sev1
      •  Production systems down, no workaround
      • Operations/functions severely impaired but can continue
      • Impaired operation of some functions
