Data Domain: How to Disable SNMP Agent in iDRAC for DD3300, DD6400, DD6900, DD9400, and DD9900

Steps

  1. In a web browser, type the iDRAC IP address specified during iDRAC configuration.
  2. Log in with the credentials creates for iDRAC account.
  3. Go to iDRAC Settings > Services > SNMP Agent.
  4. From the drop-down, select Disable and Apply.
NOTE: The change is instantaneous, and no reboot or restart is required.
 
NOTE: In future DDOS releases, this may be disabled by default and persistent after reboots and upgrades.
