The Dell BSAFE Product Team announces the general availability of Dell BSAFE Micro Edition Suite 5.0.1. This release embeds the Dell BSAFE Crypto-C Micro Edition 4.1.5 FIPS 140-2 cryptographic module.

This release is designed to include the following new features:
  • Added support for a user-defined certificate verification callback with the secure connection PKIX authentication plugin.

  • TLSv1.2 cipher suites based on the SHA-1 digest are removed from the default cipher suite list for Secure Connections.
