How to reset the BIOS to default settings:
1. Place the node in Maintenance Mode with Ensure Accessibility.
2. Log in to the iDRAC of the node as root and launch the virtual console.
- Alternatively access the node locally using a keyboard and monitor.
3. Reboot the node using vCenter, CLI, or iDRAC power controls.
4. Within the iDRAC virtual console, as the node is going through POST enter System Setup by pressing the F2 key.
-Alternatively select the Boot option at the top of the virtual console. Select the BIOS Setup before rebooting the node to allow it to boot to System Setup upon the next boot without requiring F2 keyboard input.
5. From the System Setup page within the iDRAC virtual console, select System BIOS.
6. From the System BIOS page select Defaults, then select Yes in the 'Load Default Settings' warning window.

How to set system time and date:
Follow above steps up to step 5.
1. Within System BIOS, scroll down using the bar on the right side of the page, then select Miscellaneous Settings.
2. Click on the System Time or System Date value to adjust the time or date.
3. Once the value is set properly click OK to save the new time or date value, changes take effect immediately.
4. Once the System Time and System Date are set properly, click the Back button in the bottom-right corner.
5. Click Finish in the bottom-right corner to exit System BIOS, then click Finish again to exit System Setup and allow the system to boot.
