PowerEdge - No Video on Local VGA Port

If you are getting no video on VGA port (out of box, after motherboard replacement, clearing NVRAM, remove CMOS) in general, be sure to check this setting while troubleshooting.

When available, closed caption (subtitles) language settings can be chosen using the CC icon on this video player.


The iDRAC Virtual Console displays video without problem.

This could happen if the Local server video is disabled on the Virtual Console settings.

Ensure that the Local Server Video is enabled on the iDRAC Virtual Console Settings:
