  • Microsoft Windows 8
  • Microsoft Windows 8.1
  • Microsoft Windows 7 SP1
  • Windows Server 2012
  • Windows Server 2012 R2
  • Windows Server 2016
    *Supported with and without Hyper-V role enabled
  • Microsoft .NET Framework 4.5 or later is required.
NOTE: SAN HQ v3.4 is not supported on the following Windows operating system versions:
  • Windows Server 2008
  • Windows Server 2008 R2
  • Windows Server 2003
  • Windows Server 2003 R2
  • Windows Vista
  • Windows XP
Notes

SAN Headquarters (SAN HQ) is Dell’s management tool for consolidated performance and robust event monitoring across multiple virtualized Dell EqualLogic SAN groups. SAN HQ gathers and formats performance data and other important group information and, with SupportAssist enabled, provides proactive diagnostic reporting of critical events and uploads them to Dell Support.

As a best practice, Dell Technologies recommends that you install or update to SAN HQ version 3.4.1 and enable SupportAssist before updating to PS Series firmware version 8.1.x.

SAN HQ 3.4.1 release includes:

  • Fix for the issue that prevented SupportAssist uploads to Auto-Pilot and support case creation.
