Symptoms

Shortly after adding an initiator that exceeds the cluster limit, loss of service is observed.

Cause

Adding more initiators than the cluster limit can cause a software module failure, putting the system management module in a rolling panic state.

Resolution

If the issue is triggered, contact support immediately for resolution.
For mitigation, XIOS upgrade to code version 6.4.0-36 or later is recommended, as it contains fixes to the software module failure issue.
