Facts
Storage I/O Control (SIOC) offers storage resource management capability for virtual disks and datastores. It provides a way to govern virtual disk utilization within a clustered datastore.  SIOC uses virtual machine disk shares and disk IOPS settings to establish precedence, and apportions the virtual machine storage resources when the datastore response time exceeds predefined levels.

SIOC can be used along with FAST VP.
