Pre-Removal instructions before removing the SSD:
During installation or removal of any hardware always ensures that all data is backed up properly.
Disconnect any telephone, network, or USB cables from the computer.
Disconnect the computer and all attached devices from their electrical outlets.
Remove the (M2x4) screw on the SSD door latch cover.
Push the SSD latch and lift the SSD door.
Push the carrier latch to release the SSD carrier.
Pull the mylar tape to lift the SSD carrier of the computer.
Flip the SSD carrier and remove the (M2x5) screw.
Pull the mylar tape and lift the SSD carrier cover.
Remove the (M2x2) screw that secures the M.2 2230 solid state drive to the SSD carrier cover.
Lift and remove the M2.2230 solid state drive.
Lift and remove the SSD extender of the SSD carrier.

Disconnect any telephone, network, or USB cables from the computer.
Disconnect the computer and all attached devices from their electrical outlets.
Slide the battery release latch to the unlock position.
Slide the latch down to unlock the battery.
Lift the battery out of the battery bay.
Remove the battery from the system.

Disconnect any telephone, network, or USB cables from the computer.
Disconnect the computer and all attached devices from their electrical outlets.
Slide the stylus out using the groove on the stylus pen.
Loosen the knot and slip the stylus through the hole to remove the tether from the chassis.

Disconnect the computer and all attached devices from their electrical outlets.
Remove the two (M3.5x9) screws that secure the handle to the system.
Remove the handle from the system.
Pre-Removal instructions before removing the Base Cover:
Remove the 22 (M2.5x7) and six (M2x4) screws that secure the base cover to the system chassis.
Remove the two (M2x4) screws that secure the battery cable cover to the system chassis.
Disconnect the left and right battery cables from the connectors on the system board.
Lift the base cover from the system chassis.
