Symptoms

Appliance runs into WPM (Write Protect Mode) or OOS (Out of Space) after after one node is down for more than 30 minutes.

Appliance doesn't exit OOS even after volumes that consume more then 16GB physical space are deleted.

 

 

Cause

There is a software issue with reference counter processing (decref) when one node is down or in service mode,

Resolution

Contact Technical Support for assistance. 

This issue is resolved in PowerStore 3.0.
