If you upgraded to Windows 11, we recommend creating a backup of the computer image should you have to restore Windows 11 at any point.

Dell is only authorized to restore the Windows edition that shipped factory installed with your computer.

The recovery image saves you time and effort as Dell recovery options will only restore the Windows 10 edition your computer shipped with (Windows 10 Home or Windows 10 Pro).
