The 'show tech-support details' command can be used to output information from the Cisco MDS switch.

Step 1. Open up an SSH session into the MDS switch. PuTTy, or a similar SSH client, can be used to establish this connection.

Step 2. Set the SSH client to capture the output of the session to a file.
