Utilizzo del metodo svc_switch (preferito) 
svc_switch è disponibile a partire da xDoctor 82. Assicurarsi di utilizzare sempre la versione più recente di xDoctor per ottenere risultati ottimali. I comandi riportati di seguito generano gli stessi output visualizzati nella sezione del metodo legacy riportata di seguito.

Gruppo MLAG 100: per la connessione di rete del cliente, queste interfacce sono direttamente connesse allo switch del cliente. È necessario connettere almeno un uplink di porta su ciascuno di essi in Hare e Rabbit. Lo stato deve essere Connected, ovvero il collegamento è attivo sul layer fisico. Questo gruppo dispone di più interfacce raggruppate (porte Ethernet 1-8). 

Connessioni di nodi (Et9 - Et16): in un rack standard Gen 2, ogni interfaccia slave-0 del nodo 1 è connessa alla porta Rabbit Ethernet 9 e la controparte slave-1 è collegata alla stessa porta su Hare. Ogni nodo dispone di uno specifico gruppo MLAG identificato (1 per provo, 2 per sandy e così via). . Per verificare che il collegamento del nodo sia attivo, lo stato deve essere "connected" sul lato switch, sia in Hare che in Rabbit. 

Ethernet 45-48: si tratta di connessioni peer MLAG, ovvero connessioni back-end tra Hare e Rabbit; devono essere sempre connesse per garantire che il protocollo di aggregazione degli switch funzioni come previsto.

per esaminare più nel dettaglio una singola porta, è possibile utilizzare il comando riportato di seguito. L'esempio riportato di seguito riguarda Ethernet 9

Con questo comando è possibile esaminare ulteriori dettagli su specifiche interfacce:
  1. Lo stato della porta deve essere connected, il protocollo di linea deve essere attivo. Se la porta è interrotta dal punto di vista hardware, è possibile che lo stato della porta risulti inattivo. 
  2. Anche l'indirizzo MAC può essere verificato da questo output. Si tratta di un indirizzo hardware univoco per ogni porta. 
  3. Duplex e velocità sono importanti da convalidare. Il valore "full" di Duplex deve sempre essere negoziato; "half", se visibile, indica un problema di negoziazione e deve essere analizzato. 
  4. L'uptime della porta è utile per convalidare la stabilità. In caso di cambio di stato dei collegamenti, l'uptime continuerà a ripristinarsi.
  5. I contatori forniscono statistiche importanti. CRC, errori e collisioni non devono aumentare sulla porta. Se accade, ciò indica un problema che può avere un impatto sulle prestazioni.
