Resolution | Cause This issue occurs when connectivity to the switch using the management IP address fails or if the system is unable to read the switch configuration information. Solution Verify the status of connectivity with the Ethernet switch and the credentials that are used to access the switch. If the issue persists, contact Technical Support for further assistance.
Note: Different switch vendors may have different permissions for different predefined roles. For example for Dell OS10 switches, the netoperator role is not enough to read running-configuration info.

Resolution | Cause This issue occurs when an inter-chassis link (ICL) is not configured on the switch or if the system is unable to read the switch configuration information. Solution Verify the status of Ethernet switch inter-chassis link configuration. Ensure that an Inter-Chassis link is configured on the switch.
