Een deel van de hardwaremonitorfunctie van VxRail Manager is afhankelijk van de juiste communicatie met PTAgent en iDRAC.

Dit artikel bevat de standaard iDRAC-instellingen die niet kunnen worden gewijzigd.
  • Os naar iDRAC Pass-through / iDRAC Management GUI > Overview > iDRAC Settings > Network > OS
    • Staat: Enabled
    • Pass-through-modus: USB NIC
    • IP-adres USB NIC: 169.254.0.1

Het wijzigen van de minimale lengte naar een waarde groter dan 9 kan ertoe leiden dat VxRail geen verbinding kan maken met het knooppunt en de RASR mislukt. Raadpleeg support voordat u wijzigingen aanbrengt in het gebruikerswachtwoordbeleid.

**Opmerking: Nadat u de bovenstaande wijzigingen hebt aangebracht, voert u de opdracht "esxcfg-nics -l " uit op het knooppunt om te controleren of de ingebouwde NIC wordt weergegeven als vmnic0. Als dit niet het geval is, kan een RASR-reset van het knooppunt nodig zijn (zie: VxRail: Build-validatie mislukt op VxRail G560 met foutmelding: "An unknown validation error occurred in VlanLiveValidator"voor meer informatie).
