Why does the Screen Flicker While Running on Battery

Computer screen starts flickering while running on the battery. It works fine when plugged in. The computer was shipped with a Nvidia Graphic card. BIOS and Nvidia driver are updated and the power option is changed but it did not resolve the issue. Changing the windows theme to basic also did not work.

The issue is due to Intel DISPLAY POWER SAVING TECHNOLOGY we need to uncheck that option under graphic properties. This resolves the issue.

Below is the path to disable this option.

Graphics Properties > Advanced Mode >Power > Change the pull-down menu on the power source from 'Plugged in' to 'On Battery' and uncheck "Display power-saving technology". Click OK.
