Symptoms

IDRAC9 kan een onbekende aanwezigheid van systeemkaartventilator 1 in R440 en R540 PowerEdge servers melden nadat iDRAC9 is gereset.

  • R440 10HDD Backplane configuratie met redundante netvoedingen
  • R540 12HDD Voor-backplane configuratie met redundante netvoedingen
 

Oplossing

Dell EMC Engineering is op de hoogte van het probleem. De iDRAC9-firmware 3.30.30.30 zal de conditie die voor dit gedrag zorgt verhelpen. In de tussentijd moet de getroffen server opnieuw worden opgestart (koud of warm) om het probleem te verhelpen. Dit probleem is alleen aanwezig nadat de iDRAC9 opnieuw wordt opgestart.
