The micro-USB connector on the Venue 10 Pro (5055) can support data transfer or AC power but not both simultaneously. When it is connected to a USB port on a computer, it automatically switches to data transfer mode and will not charge the battery. To charge the device, always use the AC power adapter with the USB-to-micro-USB cable supplied with the device. The micro-USB connector is located on the middle of the left-hand edge of the Dell Venue 10 Pro 5055 tablet.
