Windows 10, 8/8.1 og 7* har ikke indbygget DVD/Blu-ray-afspilningsmuligheder. Enten skal Windows DVD Player-appen (ingen understøttelse af Blu-ray) eller en app fra en tredjepart bruges for at afspille DVD/Blu-ray film.
