When powering on a virtual machine (VM) that has PCI Passthru enabled, the VMware vSphere ESXi host 5.1 host crashes. The purple screen appears similar to this :

Resolution :

Update the host with patch ESXi510-201212401-BG. You can download the patch here : http://kb.vmware.com/selfservice/microsites/search.do?language=en_US&cmd=displayKC&externalId=2035777
