What is Wireless Charging?

Wireless charging, also known as inductive charging, is a convenient and hassle-free way to turn on your smartphone or mobile device. The wireless power transfer occurs through electromagnetic induction. With inductive charging the required power reaches the device not through a traditional cable but rather wirelessly by using electromagnetic fields. The principle is simple. The Charging Station transfers the required energy to the receiver (the smartphone or mobile device). There are several smartphones, tablets, iPods, MP3 players and cameras.

The biggest advantage of Wireless Charging technology is that mobile devices and chargers from different manufacturers are compatible. The only requirement is that both the charger and the mobile device are capable of Wireless Charging.
