  1. Pre-Removal Instructions Before removing the Battery -1:

    1. During installation or removal of any hardware always ensure all data is backed up properly

    2. Disconnect any telephone, network, or USB cables from the computer

    3. Disconnect the computer and all attached devices from their electrical outlets

  2. Unlock the Battery latch [1]. Lift the battery up from the latch side [2] and pull the battery out of the system [3].

  1. Pre-Removal Instructions Before removing the Battery -2:

    1. During installation or removal of any hardware always ensure all data is backed up properly

    2. Disconnect any telephone, network, or USB cables from the computer

    3. Disconnect the computer and all attached devices from their electrical outlets

  2. Unlock the Battery latch [1]. Lift the battery up from the latch side [2] and pull the battery out of the system [3].

  1. Pre-Removal Instructions Before removing the I/O Doors:

    1. During installation or removal of any hardware always ensure all data is backed up properly

    2. Disconnect any telephone, network, or USB cables from the computer

    3. Disconnect the computer and all attached devices from their electrical outlets

  2. Loosen the screws securing the door to the chassis [1]. Open and remove the door from the system [2].

  1. Pre-Removal Instructions Before removing the Primary Solid State Drive (SSD) :

    1. During installation or removal of any hardware always ensure all data is backed up properly

    2. Disconnect any telephone, network, or USB cables from the computer

    3. Disconnect the computer and all attached devices from their electrical outlets

  2. Open the right I/O door on the system and press the blue SSD release latch [1].

  1. Using the pull tab, slide the SSD out of the system [2].

  1. Pre-Removal Instructions Before removing the Secondary Solid State Drive (SSD) :

    1. During installation or removal of any hardware always ensure all data is backed up properly

    2. Disconnect any telephone, network, or USB cables from the computer

    3. Disconnect the computer and all attached devices from their electrical outlets

  2. Open the right I/O door closest to the front of the system and press the blue SSD release latch [1].

  1. Using the pull tab, slide the SSD out of the system [2].

  1. Pre-Removal Instructions Before removing the SD Memory Card :

    1. During installation or removal of any hardware always ensure all data is backed up properly

    2. Disconnect any telephone, network, or USB cables from the computer

    3. Disconnect the computer and all attached devices from their electrical outlets

  2. Open the right I/O door closest to the rear of the system and push the SD card into the reader until it firmly seats. To remove the card, push it further in and release it. The card will pop out of the reader enough for you to pull it the rest of the way out.

  1. Pre-Removal Instructions Before removing the Stylus:

    1. During installation or removal of any hardware always ensure all data is backed up properly

    2. Disconnect any telephone, network, or USB cables from the computer

    3. Disconnect the computer and all attached devices from their electrical outlets

  2. Open the right I/O door closest to the rear of the system and push in on the stylus and release it. It will pop out far enough for you to pull it the rest of the way out of the system.

  1. Pre-Removal Instructions Before removing the Handle:

    1. During installation or removal of any hardware always ensure all data is backed up properly

    2. Disconnect any telephone, network, or USB cables from the computer

    3. Disconnect the computer and all attached devices from their electrical outlets

  2. With the system sitting on its lid, loosen the screw securing the left hand side and the screw securing the right hand side of the handle [1].

  1. Lift the handle away from the system [2].
