即使在 Windows 內按下功能鍵，F4 功能鍵 LED 仍會恆亮
有使用者回報，系統開機進入 Windows 後，F4 鍵會持續亮起。按下按鍵沒有作用。
此問題最初是在 Latitude E7270 和 E7470 電腦上報告的，但也有出現在其他電腦上，例如 E5450/5450、E5250/5250、E5550/5550 等，其 LED 具有相同的 F4 鍵。

在某些 Latitude 系統上，F4 鍵可用來將內建麥克風靜音 （圖 1）。但是，如果在 BIOS 中停用麥克風，則在系統開機進入 Windows 作業系統後，指示燈將會保持亮起。
此為設計運作方式，且指示燈仍亮起，表示已在系統 BIOS 中停用。若要恢復 F4 鍵的功能，請在 BIOS 中重新啟用麥克風。
在 E7270 或 E7470 等某些系統的 BIOS 中，麥克風會在「系統組態」和「音訊」下啟用 （圖 2）。
