Nell'ambito delle linee guida per il deployment di Dell EMC Storage Spaces Direct Ready Nodes, per le infrastrutture che utilizzano RoCE v2 per RDMA utilizzando adattatori Mellanox CX4 LX, si consiglia di disabilitare DCBX willing a livello globale nel sistema operativo host e di impostare la scheda di rete DCBXMode su Host responsabile. Con questa configurazione, non vi è alcuna entità downstream che scambia le informazioni DCBX con lo switch di rete Dell EMC e pertanto lo stato operativo DCBX verrà visualizzato come inattivo sulle porte rivolte verso il server.
