Symptoms
Posting UWP apps to the Dell Support Website
Dell was not able to post its Universal Windows Platform (UWP) settings applets on the Drivers & Downloads site. This was due to some restrictions that we were operating under in 2020.
Dell could only post them separately on the Microsoft Store (MS Store).
Cause
This was a problem, because many of Dell's Corporate customers maintain a closed network. This prevents these customers from having direct access to the MS Store. Which was causing them a great deal of inconvenience in keeping their Dell equipment updated.
Resolution
UWP Updates
Dell were able to add this format to the drivers available from the: Dell Support Website page
This addressed the situation and improved the overall customer experience when you must download UWP applications.
