Pre-Removal Instructions before removing the Access Panel:
During installation or removals of any hardware always ensure that all data is backed up properly.
Disconnect any telephone, network, or USB cables from the computer.
Disconnect the computer and all attached devices from their electrical outlets.
Turn the laptop over on it is closed lid and loosen the eight (8) captive screws securing the Access Panel, to the chassis.
Using a plastic scribe or some other tool that does not mark the plastics. Pry the cover up from the left-hand side hinge [1]. Work clockwise around the Access Panel, to release it from the chassis.
Lift the panel up and away from the chassis.
Pre-Removal Instructions before removing the Battery:
During installation or removals of any hardware always ensure that all data is backed up properly.
Disconnect any telephone, network, or USB cables from the computer.
Disconnect the computer and all attached devices from their electrical outlets.
Remove the Access Panel.
With the laptop turned over on its lid, the battery is located in the bottom right-hand side of the laptop. Disconnect the battery cable from the motherboard.
Loosen the single (1) captive screw on the right-hand side of the battery [1].
Lift the battery up an away from the laptop [2].

During installation or removals of any hardware always ensure that all data is backed up properly.
Disconnect any telephone, network, or USB cables from the computer.
Disconnect the computer and all attached devices from their electrical outlets.
Remove the Access Panel, and Battery.
With the laptop placed on its closed lid, the memory is located in the middle of the laptop. Pull apart the metal clips holding the DIMM in place [1].
When the DIMM lifts up at an angle to the base, pull it out of the socket and away from the laptop [2].
Pre-Removal Instructions before removing the Solid State Drive (SSD):
During installation or removals of any hardware always ensure that all data is backed up properly.
Disconnect any telephone, network, or USB cables from the computer.
Disconnect the computer and all attached devices from their electrical outlets.
Remove the Access Panel, and Battery.
With the laptops on its closed lid, the SSD is located in the bottom right-hand side corner of the laptops. Peel off the tape on top of the SSD card [1].
Remove the single (1) screw that secures the SSD to the chassis [2].
Lift the SSD card away from the slot in the motherboard [3].
Remove the single (1) screw that secures the SSD bracket to the chassis [1].
Lift the bracket out of the slot in the chassis [2].
Pre-Removal Instructions before removing the System Fan:
During installation or removals of any hardware always ensure that all data is backed up properly.
Disconnect any telephone, network, or USB cables from the computer.
Disconnect the computer and all attached devices from their electrical outlets.
Remove the Access Panel, and Battery.
With the laptop on its closed lid, the fan is located in the top right-hand side corner of the laptop. Disconnect the fan cable from the motherboard.
Remove the two (2) screws that secure the fan to the chassis [1].
Lift the fan assembly up and away from the chassis [2].
Pre-Removal Instructions before removing the Coin Cell Battery:
During installation or removals of any hardware always ensure that all data is backed up properly.
Disconnect any telephone, network, or USB cables from the computer.
Disconnect the computer and all attached devices from their electrical outlets.
Remove the Access Panel, and Battery.
With the laptop on its closed lid, the coin-cell battery is located between the WLAN card and SSD on the left-hand side of the laptop. Disconnect the coin-cell battery cable from the motherboard [1].
Lift the coin-cell battery away from the adhesive on the motherboard [2].
Pre-Removal Instructions before removing the Micro-SD Memory Card:
During installation or removals of any hardware always ensure that all data is backed up properly.
Disconnect any telephone, network, or USB cables from the computer.
Disconnect the computer and all attached devices from their electrical outlets.
The Micro SD slot is located on the right-hand edge of the laptop. Push in gently on the card in the slot and release to have it pop out of the slot [1].
Grip the card and pull it the rest of the way out of the slot [2].
Pre-Removal Instructions before removing the SIM Card:
During installation or removals of any hardware always ensure that all data is backed up properly.
Disconnect any telephone, network, or USB cables from the computer.
Disconnect the computer and all attached devices from their electrical outlets.
Remove the Battery.
The Micro SIM slot is located on the right-hand edge of the laptop. Push a SIM card tool or a straightened paper clip gently into the hole on the left-hand side of the SIM card slot filler. Until it pops out of the slot.
Remove the filler and fit the Micro SIM card and push the filler back into the laptop until it locks in place.
Pre-Removal Instructions before removing the WWAN CARD (Cellular):
During installation or removals of any hardware always ensure that all data is backed up properly.
Disconnect any telephone, network, or USB cables from the computer.
Disconnect the computer and all attached devices from their electrical outlets.
Remove the Access Panel, and Battery.
Remove the single (1) screw that secures the WWAN card bracket to the chassis.
Remove the bracket from on top of the antenna cables and the card appears at an angle from the motherboard.
Disconnect the antenna cables pop connectors from the press studs on the WWAN card.
Pull the card out of the connector on the motherboard and away from the laptop.
Pre-Removal Instructions before removing the WLAN Card (WiFi, Wireless):
During installation or removals of any hardware always ensure that all data is backed up properly.
Disconnect any telephone, network, or USB cables from the computer.
Disconnect the computer and all attached devices from their electrical outlets.
Remove the Access Panel, and Battery.
With the laptop on it is closed lid, the WLAN card is located in the top left-hand corner of the laptop. Remove the single (1) screw that secures the WLAN card bracket to the chassis [1].
Remove the bracket from on top of the antenna cables [2] and the card appears at an angle from the motherboard.
Disconnect the antenna cables pop connectors from the press studs on the WLAN card [3].
Pull the card out of the connector on the motherboard and away from the laptop [4].
