You may experience a situation where your Latitude 5580 or 5590 wireless connection keeps dropping, unless you are near a wireless Access Point or router.

Cause

Dell Technologies recommends that you update to the latest wireless driver is installed on your computer. Also ensure that the latest firmware is installed on your wireless Access Point or Router.

Resolution

To update your wireless Access Point or Router's firmware to the latest available, review the documentation that came with your wireless Access Point or Router, or contact the wireless Access Point or Router manufacturer.
