When you open a saved (USB, Network, Hard Drive, etc.) Excel spreadsheet, it will take 1-2 minutes before the Excel splash screen appears. This behavior should not happen if you open a new Excel spreadsheet and then open a saved Excel spreadsheet.
A solution to resolve this behavior is to update the Realtek audio driver to version 6.0.1.8142 or higher from Dell.com/Support.
