How to Manage Licenses in Wyse Management Suite

Instructions

Wyse Management Suite requires licenses to unlock components of the software’s functionality.

  • v1.3 and Later

An administrator may use Wyse Management Suite and want to Check License Count, Export Public Cloud Licenses, or Add Licenses. Click the appropriate process for more information.

Note: To obtain a license to add to Wyse Management Suite Private Cloud, first complete the Export Public Cloud Licenses process before following Add Licenses.
  1. Sign in to Wyse Management Suite.

  2. Click Portal Administration.

  3. Click Subscription.

  4. License usage is shown in License Usage.

  1. Sign in to Wyse Management Suite Public Cloud.

  2. Click Portal Administration.

  3. Click Subscription.

  4. At Export License For Public Cloud:
    1. Populate the Number of TC seats to export.
    2. Populate the Number of Edge Gateway and Embedded PC seats to export.
    3. Populate the Number of Wyse Software Thin Client seats to export.
    4. Click Export.

    Note: If no seats are to be exported from a category, leave them blank, and do not populate 0.
  5. Document the Exported license key.

Licenses are added differently for Wyse Management Suite Private Cloud and Public Cloud. Click the appropriate version for more information.

Private Cloud

  1. Sign in to Wyse Management Suite.

  2. Click Portal Administration.

  3. Click Subscription.

  4. At Enter license key:
    1. Populate a license key.
    2. Click Import.

Public Cloud

Wyse Management Suite Public Cloud licenses are added automatically to your Public Cloud account once the purchasing process is finalized. No action is necessary.
