Symptoms

After upgrading the Operating System (OS) from Windows10 RS5 to Windows10 19H1, the launch of the Alienware Mobile Connect application will fail with the error detailed in the picture below:

To resolve this please:

  1. Proceed to download and install the driver for Alienware Mobile Connect - version 2.0, A00 or later from the Dell Drivers and Downloads website.
  2. Update the Alienware Mobile Connect App from MS store.
